What makes you mad?

I am currently reading Bill Hybels "Holy Discontent". So far it has really kept me interested. He is going through and talking about when something makes you angry and you want to make sure it doesnt happen anymore, and it happens to be something that makes God angry also, how big of an adventure it can be. He tells the story of the dude from World Vision, Mother teresa, Moses, and Martin Luther King jr.

So far I have been trying to run my mind of what really makes me upset about the world. I don't have a whole lot right now but was wondering what everyone else's Discontents might be.

Junk in the Trunk

I was a part of a great meeting today. We were discussing the best way to really help teenagers is to let them know your real, how you struggle and how you aren't perfect. I thought is was a very awesome meeting.

We got to realize how God doesn't call the prepared, He prepares the called. That God doesn't allow hurt to go around wasted, he uses it for his Glory for his Good purpose. So that is going to be something I try to evaluate as I am going through tough times, that if times weren't tough God isnt preparing me for his purposes.

Unleashed

Went to Newspring's Unleashed conference for the second year in a row. THose guys down there in Anderson do it up big. I was blown away. The amount of energy that they have and the momentum that is going on is definitely God inspired. I enjoyed the conference a lot and hope to go again next year.

One of the things I really took from it, They are all about Jesus......
