I was thinking the other day, as I was riding down the street I passed 3 or 4 church within a 5 mile radius. They were all having a halloween alternative. Now don't get me wrong I think halloween alternatives are great. I'm not personally into all the dark and death and scary stuff that goes on with Halloween. But I began to think, the "CHURCH" does this all the time, each individual group of believers will do their own thing. Think of the impact the "CHURCH" would have if each of the local churchs got together to present a one Halloween alternative. I think that people would really notice. People who aren't church goers. People who need to really know that their are good people in the world, and not all christians are fruitcakes. How big of an impact do you think a united front would make? If instead of having 20 individual alternatives there was one big one. I mean I bet it would pack out a wal-mart.
But instead each church put their best effort into reaching the people that either go to their church or rides by and sees their sign.
Maybe one day we will all get together and live as one.
