One Line

I love when you are reading a book, and then one line of it hits you so heavy you have to stop in your tracks, put the book down, and fully digest what you just read. I am currently reading Tim Keller's Prodigal God. So far it has been a great book. Pastor Scott taught on in a while back so I knew the basis of the book. But about halfway through, Keller writes "It is impossible to forgive someone if you feel superior to him or her." Ok I know that might not be deep for everyone, but it made me stop and think.

Between me and you and whoever really reads this blog, I am prideful and feel superior to LOTS of people. not proud of it, but being honest here. The ramifications of that statement went straight to my core. Not only I am unable to forgive them, but am I truly viewing them as a person, or an obstacle?????

I will probably be chewing on this for days.
